Our Anthem
I wouldn’t say my life was pitiful or boring
I love my modest job I share with friends of mine.
But now I can’t deny that in my plain life story
I found the most exiting and essential line.
There is something that brings us together.
I don’t know what it really might be.
I’m just happy and just wondering whether
I would ever be as happy as here.
How different we are, we’re paving separate ways to go through
Both favours and disgrace prepared for our lives.
But when we are a Club we find ourselves a strong crew.
Just listen to these hearts, look in these friendly eyes!
There is something in this atmosphere -
Lovely sense one could never define,
Something tuneful, something tender and clear,
That will always be a passion of mine.
The world is turning on and everything is changing
Except those silent stars deep in that soundless sky.
My hard, my lavish fate, oh, let me live pretending
That our blessed unity will never die!
There is something that brings us together.
Should I care what it really might be?
I’m just happy and just wondering whether
I would ever be as happy as here.
